One of the gems of the JCC, the J Roots program is a supplementary school designed specifically for Jewish secular families to teach a profound appreciation for the Jewish culture to students aged 3 to 18.
Creative programing provides the opportunity to learn through drama, art, music and dance the values of our culture, Hebrew language, Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation and most of all the confidence and knowledge of how to become active participants in the community.
Living up to its name, Israeli culture and Hebrew language acquisition is at the forefront of this educational opportunity for native and non-Hebrew speaking children aged 4 to 13. Now at both JCC locations every Sunday this supplementary school grows every year in popularity as students deepen their understanding of rich Israeli history and culture, Hebrew language, Torah and Jewish holidays.
